Q Do I need to have my own domain name to have an AgentHub.net website?
A No. A domain name is not necessary. You will get a sub-domain name which will be part of our domain name.
Our domain name = agenthub.net
Sub-domain name = yourname.agenthub.net


Q How do I get the sub-domain with agenthub.net?
A You will be prompted to choose your own sub-domain name on the registration process. Your sub-domain name can be anything you like, such as Travel Planners International travel agent 2-letter code, your Company Name or your name.
A 2-letter code sub-domain: mc.agenthub.net
A Company Name sub-domain: traveldreamers.agenthub.net
Your name sub-domain: erwing.agenthub.net


Q Can I change my sub-domain name?
A No. Once you select a sub-domain, it cannot be changed. The system automatically assigns you the sub-domain you have selected.


Q I have my own domain name registered. Can I get a website through AgentHub.net?
A Absolutely. We will give you the same website if you presently have a domain name registered.


Q What is the procedure to follow if I have my domain name and would like a website through AgentHub.net?
A You will need to contact your domain name “Registrar” and ask them to provide you with “URL redirection”.


Q What if the Company I have registered my domain name with (my registrar) does not offer “URL redirection”?
A In that case, you might want to consider transferring your domain name registration to a domain name registrar that offers DNS services including URL redirection. There are many well known domain registrars that include URL redirection with their standard domain registration fees.


Q How do I know if I qualify to have a website?
A You need to be an active registered agent with Travel Planners International, Inc. in order to have a site. Travel Planners International, Inc. will give you necessary tools to help build your site within minutes.


Q Do I need special software to build the site?
A No special software is not required. You will provided with a special interface, which can be accessed through agenthub.net.


Q Do I need to have any special technical computer skills or knowledge of HTML code to build the site?
A No. You do not need to have special computer knowledge. You only need to be able to know how to locate files on your computer’s hard drive to add these to your site.


Q What are the basic requirements needed and what do I need to know?
A You will only need a computer and Internet connection. The entire creation of the website is handled on-line by accessing www.agenthub.net You only need to know how to connect to the Internet and handle basic computer functions.


Q Do you provide technical support?
A Yes. We provide unlimited access to our Marketing and Technology Support departments via e-mail or by phone.


Q Can I login to my account and make changes to my website at anytime?
A Yes. You can access your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any computer with an Internet connection anywhere in the world. You can add, modify or change editable pages at anytime.


Q Do I need to have my own logo on the website?
A No but we highly recommend you use one. A logo is more than just a pretty picture, it's the signature of your business. Our Marketing and Business Development Design Team can create a fully custom logo package that includes several files that can be used on your website as well as elsewhere. Q Can I change the colors or the style of my website?
A Unfortunately colors or website style cannot be changed. However, we do provide five color themes and HTML guides that give examples of how to change the text size, color, and alignment in your customizable text areas.


Q Do I have to use the suppliers you are providing?
A Yes, our system has been designed for you to take advantage of all the suppliers participating on AgentHub.net. Each supplier will provide different content and promotions. They will have complete control over the specials and content that will appear on your site.


Q Can I put my own specials in?
A Absolutely. You can advertise your own specials for any supplier. If you would like to promote a Cruise Group, you will customize your own “my trips” page with your own text and images.


Q Will you register my site with search engines?
A Unfortunately we do not offer search engine submission at this time. However, many search engines provide free website submission services.


Q How will I know when a customer registers on my site?
A All registered visitors are recorded on your customer database as soon as they register. You will receive an e-mail notification when a guest registers with your site.


Q Can I add more links to my website?
AYou can add as many links as you want, however links can only be added in the main body of editable pages. Top links and main site link structure cannot be modified.


Q How do I upload promotions to my site?
A You will be able to upload special promotions by accessing your unique “my trips” page and posting relevant information about them.


Q Can I e-mail my clients with specials and up-to-date information?
A Yes you can. We will post specials on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for you to send them to your clients. You can also sent them your own specials.


Q Can my clients book a vacation through my website?
A Yes, we do provide access to optional booking engines that you can enable within the administration part of your website. If you do not choose to use these, your clients will be able to contact you through a submission form based on thier travel interests.


Q How can my customers contact me?
A Your customers can fill out and send you any information via a contact form that will be provided as part of your website.


Q How can I advertise my website and bring in more clients?
A Our Marketing and Business Development Design Team can create custom web banner advertisement for you to post on different websites and locations on the web. They provide many niche-market specific static and animated banners with your particular business in mind. Please visit the Banner Design website here.


Q What kind of things do I put on my custom pages?
A These pages are open for you to put anything you would like. We recommend that you put travel packages that you would like to promote, or a sort of travel log that will show your travel experiences.There are ten sections on each of the three custom pages that correspond to a picture that you upload, depicting the text beside it.
